Niamh is a magical seamstress who can stitch memories and emotions into garments, though using her power slowly kills her. She travels to the kingdom of Avalane to design a wedding wardrobe for Prince Kit, whose upcoming marriage is meant to secure a vital political alliance. As they work together, Niamh and the prickly prince fall in love while navigating a brewing revolution and the physical toll of Niamh's magic.

A Fragile Enchantment is a romantic fantasy filled with scandal and secrets. Our protagonist Niamh jumps at the chance to design the wedding attire for the prince and arrives at Avaland full of hope. Instead, she finds unrest among the working class and a prickly and abrasive groom-to-be, Kit, who she can’t help but get close to. As she tries navigating this unruly kingdom, she finds herself in the middle of a scandal with Kit, all while trying to maintain her magic and survive.
