Elle Wright’s account of her road to bringing home a healthy baby echoes the experiences of women who have struggled with secondary infertility.

After the death of her three-day-old son Teddy in 2016, Elle Wright’s path to bringing home a living child involved three and a half years of waiting. She and her husband underwent test results, hospital appointments, and procedures to help with their experience of secondary infertility. This wait included three rounds of IVF and the loss of a second baby at 15 weeks.
