A sentient spaceship, mourning the death of her spouse and former leader of a pirate fleet, strikes a deal with a captured human. The two enter into an arranged marriage to provide cover for an investigation into the previous leader’s death. Amidst internal power struggles within the pirate fleets and a brewing war against piracy, they must work together to uncover the truth.
