In a world on the brink of war, two sisters with the powers of gods carved into their bones are placed at the head of a growing rebellion seeking to overthrow the tyrannical monarchs. Whilst one sister reunites with a violent rebel leader and estranged lover, the other sister infiltrates the palace and is drawn to the princess she meets there. Both must make a decision between duty and desire in order to burn the corrupt empire down.
