Michael Lincoln is a heavily flawed, chronically single, oblivious sci-fi enthusiast who has dedicated his life to two goals. The first of which is to get the Star Rot Chronicles published. It is, after all, the greatest science fiction multiverse ever created. Plus, it just happens to be written by his best (and only) friend, along with a group of other dysfunctional Brooklyn writers that call themselves the Orb 4. The second goal is to join the rest of the writing group and create art along with them. The only problem is that interpersonal dramas keep threatening to tear the group apart. Can Michael’s schemes keep the Orb 4 together, even as the line between real and unreal becomes dangerously thin, and the true reasons for the group’s fallout begin to emerge?
