Felix is a gentle archduke who finds himself fleeing his kingdom in disguise. During his escape, he runs straight into the arms of a wicked sorceress queen with a horrible reputation who, at first glance, seems to be just as evil as what the rumours say. When the evil queen decides to hire him as her librarian, he eagerly takes the risk of becoming one of her staff, hoping that his new queen's wickedness will be enough to shield him from his past.As he gets to know her, though, Felix soon begins to realize that there’s a deeper, more tender side to his vile villainess. But things are never so easy, and soon, our protagonist finds himself facing the greatest risk of all—that of losing his heart.
