The 1,500-copy Tier 1 limit was set deliberately. Community accounts indicate TBB asked the original 1,500 subscribers if they'd accept expanding to 2,000, they voted no, so TBB created Tier 2 instead. TBB dispatches via Royal Mail for most orders. You'll receive two distinct emails:
Known tracking limitation: If you have multiple concurrent orders, TBB's dispatch emails do not link a Royal Mail tracking number to a specific order. Subscribers managing high volumes use the Shop app to correlate deliveries.
TBB does not combine shipping across multiple items. Each title ships on its own schedule and label, even if purchased together. [3]
Regular stock shipping is calculated based on weight. Special edition shipping is charged per title/set due to third-party fulfillment, this is why combined shipping is not available.

Q: What am I paying for at TBB's price point? At ~£25-35/book, TBB adds custom cover art, sprayed edges, foil, and endpapers. Most titles use the original publisher's UK-printed book block (glued binding, standard paper). Some titles printed in China (e.g. Murderbot) and TBB's Indie Endless line have sewn bindings and acid-free paper. Fine press publishers (Folio Society, Subterranean Press) use sewn bindings and acid-free paper as standard at 3-6x the price.
