The graphic novel debut from N.D. Stevenson, based on the beloved and critically acclaimed web comic honored with Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz Awards.
Nemeses! Dragons! Science! Symbolism! All these and more await in this brilliantly tongue-in-cheekly funny tale of an evil supervillain and his not-so-evil sidekick. Lord Ballister Blackheart has a plan: prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his friends at the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics aren't the beloved heroes everyone think they are. A plan that hinges on the help of Nimona, a young shapeshifter with a knack for villainy and a insatiable lust for fame. But the longer Ballister and Nimona work together, the more he realizes she may not be the sidekick he expected...
This 10th anniversary limited edition features a redesigned foiled cover, custom designed edges, and custom pattern endpapers, plus an exclusive afterword and behind-the-scenes sketches.
