Trial of the Sun Queen

Lor has survived twelve years of torment and captivity in the scorpion-pit prison of Nostraza, held alongside her siblings. When she is unexpectedly freed, she is swept into a cutthroat competition in the realm of Ouranos, where she must compete as one of ten finalists chosen to vie for the Sun Queen's consort. The winner will gain unimaginable power; the losers face a fate far worse than the prison she left behind. As the trials turn deadly, Lor will do whatever it takes to survive, outwit her rivals, and fight for a future that is finally her own. The first book in the Artefacts of Ouranos romantasy series, with a happily-ever-after across the series.
