The Far Cry

Once upon a time, in a lonely house near Taos, a girl named Jenny Ames was murdered. No one knew where she had come from, or why she had died, or what had become of her killer.

Eight years later a troubled man named George Weaver moved into the same house and discovered that nothing is more treacherously seductive than an unsolved murder. Unless it’s a beautiful and enigmatic victim.

The Far Cry is at once a seamlessly constructed novel of detection and a harrowing portrayal of psychic meltdown.
