Medicine Man

Eighteen-year-old Willow Taylor has lived inside the walls of Heartstone Psychiatric Hospital for years, battling the depression that has shadowed her since she was fourteen. The castle-like institution is the only world she knows — until she meets Dr. Simon Blackwood, the cold, enigmatic psychiatrist she secretly calls her medicine man. He is off-limits in every way, yet Willow cannot stop being drawn to the one person sworn to heal her. As the line between patient and doctor blurs, Willow must decide whether salvation lies in mending her broken soul — or in surrendering to a forbidden desire that could destroy them both. Medicine Man is the first book in Saffron A. Kent's Heartstone series, a forbidden doctor-patient romance.
